КОШКИ МОИ (БРИГИТТА).
Она появилась зимой, вернее поздней осенью.
Я всем раззвонила, что хочу черненькую. И мне принесли.
Маленькая. И двух месяцев не было. Ее семейство, серая мама и братики с сестричками, проживали в подвале. А там… холодно, блохи. Заболели они. Сердобольная соседка взялась их выхаживать. А эта, черненькая, не заболела. Ее выкупали, обработали и принесли мне.
А у меня кот. Молоденький. При маме. Вся жизнь – еда и мама, и к хозяйке на колени. А тут – она. Кот ошалел. Потерял аппетит. Сутки не ел! Все на нее смотрел. Ну, и она не терялась: хвостиком виляет, и виляет, и – бац, лапой по морде. “Вот она я какая!” Он все терпел.
Она нашла себе любимое место: у хозяйки на плече. Зима, пушистый халат. Лапками уцепится, и там живет. Почти не слезала. Когда я открывала дверь гостям, в этом тигровом халате и с черненькой Брыськой на плече, впечатление было сногсшивательное. А она только уткнется в шею и мурчит: “Под защитой я, под защитой.”
Так и выросла. Еле отучила на плече сидеть. Пришлось. А то когтики у нее не для летнего халата. Но все равно каждое утро на руки просится. Пообниматься. Без этого день не начинает. Пока я не расскажу, как я ее люблю и какая она красавица, ее душенька не успокаивается. А она, и правда, красавица. Не зря я ей это повторяла каждый день. Все воплотилось. Одна шерстка чего стоит! Глубоко черная, глянцевая, аж сверкающая.
Как-то у нас в кошачьем магазине выставили рекламный каталог. Огромная книга, журнального формата. Целый том. И в нем – все породы кошек. Я полюбопытствовала. Открываю, а там на весь разворот – она. Во всей красе. Брыська моя. Пани Бригитта. Один в один. Как будто ее снимали. Редкая порода, написано. Бомбейская.
“Брыся, а ты действительно из подвала? Может, ты не случайно такая чувствительная? Экстрасенсиха ты моя бомбейская! Я тебя обожаю.”
